Yes, as a helper. Every pattern piece starts as my own drawing in Inkscape, and the sizes come from my own formulas. An AI assistant helps me assemble the patterns in all their variants (iron spacings, paper sizes, opening styles) and lay out the instructions — always following my instructions. I check every result and correct it, often by hand in Inkscape. Nothing goes on sale before I've checked it. All pictures on the site are illustrations for now; photos of real leather builds will follow, marked “Photo”.
Fitted to your irons
Pricking irons come in different hole spacings, and a pattern drawn for one doesn't fit the others. Here every model is drawn for each spacing.
Click through the spacings: the hole count, the panel and the stitch line all follow. Differences of half a millimetre are invisible on one panel and obvious where two panels meet — nothing is stretched or rounded to fit, so every piece of a model agrees with every other.

Outlines alone leave a lot to guesswork. Each model comes with step-by-step instructions: the tool list, the order of assembly, and the glue depth for your iron spacing.
Your irons aren't 4 mm?
Most patterns are drawn for one spacing, and with 3.38 or 3.85 mm irons the holes drift until you improvise at the corners. Here every spacing has its own sheet, in the same download.
Sell what you make
Build and sell as many finished pieces as you like — no royalty, no permission. The licence only rules out passing the file on, making tools or templates from it, and mass production.

Questions
How do I make sure it prints at the right size?
Print at 100% or “actual size” — never “fit to page”. Then measure the scale bar on the sheet with a ruler. If it reads 20 mm (or 1 inch), everything else is right too.
My irons aren't one of the six — or I don't own any yet.
For a spacing that isn't listed, write to me and I will draw it. If you are buying your first set, 3.85 or 4 mm is the usual start for wallets and card holders; every pattern here covers both.
I have only made a piece or two. Am I ready?
Yes. The instructions start with a tool list and go step by step, and every model in the shop shows its level. Start with Model No.001, free.
Why I make these
I am Zsombor. I design these patterns myself, in Budapest.
After years of making leather goods from other people's patterns, I kept running into the same problem: the pattern was drawn for someone else's irons. So I started designing my own — one panel system, every model drawn for each spacing. Aptus is Latin for fitted.
